Job Details
Support and manage all aspects of intellectual property litigation cases in federal, state, ITC, and pro bono matters from initial filing through appeal.
Serve as lead or secondary paralegal on assigned cases, ensuring all deadlines, dockets, and case-related data are accurately monitored and updated.
Conduct factual and legal research; review documents, fact-check, and summarize findings.
Draft, review, and file legal documents including motions, declarations, pleadings, and trial exhibits; assist with cite-checking and creation of tables of contents and authorities.
Prepare for and support depositions, hearings, proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including assembling witness binders, trial notebooks, and exhibits.
Maintain organized paper and electronic case files in accordance with firm policies.
Liaise with clients, experts, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel professionally and efficiently; provide excellent client service in all communications.
Coordinate and schedule key litigation events including depositions, expert meetings, hearings, and trial logistics.
Manage and maintain IP-specific documents and case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
2. Comprehensive knowledge of assigned intellectual property area (litigation).
3. Highly proficient in MS Office
4. Experience with electronic filing systems.
