Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client's growing
Clayton law firm. This position is
full-time and offers a 3/2 hybrid schedule after successful onboarding. You'll assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury litigation, ensuring clients receive the best possible representation.
Responsibilities: - Interview clients, gather evidence, and prepare legal documents
- Schedule appointments, manage deadlines, and stay organized
- Conduct legal research to determine causation, damages, and extent of injuries
- Communicate effectively with adjusters, medical providers, and subrogation analysts
- Preparing and submitting FOIA/Sunshine requests
- Heavy medical record review and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid subrogation
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance company subrogation
Qualifications: - Minimum 3+ years of plaintiff civil litigation experience working as a Paralegal supporting multiple Personal Injury attorneys
- Strong legal document writing skills
- Understanding of medical terminology, common injuries, and basic human anatomy
- Advanced Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Litify, or similar case management software
- E-filing and correspondence with the courts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred
