About the Role:
A well-established law firm in San Diego County is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join its litigation team. The firm specializes exclusively in probate, trust, and estate matters and has built a reputation for providing practical legal insights, attentive service, and compassionate support for over 30 years.
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, estate planning, trust, and/or probate law (preferred but not required) and thrive in a collaborative work environment. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and research techniques
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Effective note-taking and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Experience in case management, e-filing, and working with court staff (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Suite, Teams, Zoom, and Adobe
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist litigation attorneys in all phases of the litigation process
- Draft and e-file legal documents
- Manage and organize case files
- Communicate, coordinate, and schedule with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and third parties
- Proactively maintain attorney calendars
- Provide general support to attorneys and the paralegal team

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
