Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Responsibilities
Maintain and organize case files and documents
Coordinate with attorneys on scheduling and case deadlines
Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
Manage court filings and service of process
Support document production and review
Assist in trial preparation and logistics
Perform legal research and cite checking
Track and update docket items and calendars
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 4 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
Familiarity with New York and New Jersey court rules and procedures
Experience with electronic filing systems and legal research tools
Proficiency with litigation software (e.g., Relativity, Trial Director)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
