Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Description: A leading middle-market Pittsburgh law firm seeks a skilled Paralegal with 5+ years of experience in defense litigation, ideally with experience preparing medical summaries in the personal injury, product liability or medical malpractice areas.
Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Responsibilities:
- Manage case lifecycle and monitor progress.
- Order, follow up, and summarize records (medical, employment, etc.).
- Prepare legal documents (motions, pleadings, subpoenas).
- Assist with discovery requests and eDiscovery document reviews.
- Organize factual data in multi-district litigation.
- Prepare for depositions and trials and summarize depositions
- Compile and analyze information for reports and exhibits.
- Prepare case materials and coordinate witnesses.
- File pleadings electronically in state and federal courts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in complex litigation support.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Knowledge of county, state, and federal courts.
- Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification from approved ABA program is preferred
- Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
- Experience with Discovery Point, Case Notebook, and Relativity, iManage and Prolaw a plus
