Position Summary:
A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters across various industries in both federal and state courts. The ideal candidate will bring extensive litigation experience, sound judgment, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation, including document collection, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.
- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and briefs with courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and deadlines.
- Support attorneys with deposition preparation, witness files, and exhibit organization.
- Provide on-site trial support, including managing case materials, exhibits, and technology logistics.
- Summarize deposition transcripts and key documents for attorney review.
- Maintain case calendars and track court deadlines and filings.
- Train and mentor junior paralegals and litigation support staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department, including trial support.
- Fluency in Spanish is required to support multilingual case matters.
- This hybrid position requires three days per week in the office.
- Must have substantial trial experience, ideally involving complex commercial litigation.
- Must meet a minimum annual billable requirement of 1,500 hours.
