We are seeking a Paralegal in a property insurance law firm representing clients in property insurance matters. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the discovery process, ensure compliance with deadlines, coordinate with clients and witnesses for documentation, and prepare responses for attorney and client review.
At The Lawgical Firm, we specialize in property insurance claims, providing hands-on, start-to-finish representation to ensure our clients' properties are restored to pre-loss condition. Each claim is assessed individually by our experienced attorney, who inspects the damage, reviews the policy, and works with a trusted network of experts to negotiate the best possible outcome. We prioritize direct communication, and guide clients through every step of the process.
Total Compensation Range: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain efficient workflows to ensure all discovery requests and responses meet strict deadlines
- Ensure there is consistent contact with clients, witnesses, and third parties to gather necessary documentation
- Review and organize documentation for attorney analysis
- Draft discovery responses and objections for attorney review
- Maintain meticulous tracking systems for all discovery deadlines across multiple cases
- Ensure quality control and compliance with court rules and procedures
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Discovery Department and attorneys
- Implement best practices for document management and evidence preservation
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence, particularly as they relate to discovery
- Experience with property insurance litigation or insurance defense
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Knowledge of property insurance claims processes
- Familiarity with court filing systems and procedures in Florida
