Consilio is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Nashville, Tennessee for a top law firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong calendar management skills, attention to detail, organized, maintain confidentiality & have exceptional communication skills.
Nashville Salary: $60K to $85k Monday - Friday on-site
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain an ongoing list of assignments for active cases and participate in team meetings to discuss strategy and upcoming deadlines.
- Conduct initial investigations, legal research, and assessments prior to claims.
- Review local filing protocols and draft outlines for team members in relation to upcoming briefs.
- Coordinate with court clerks and governmental bodies on procedural matters.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and appellate filings.
- Manage and organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
- Maintain and update indexes for pleadings and discovery documents.
- Prepare document productions in response to requests.
- Support attorneys in large-scale document productions and handling other discovery requests.
- Review and index medical records.
- Aid in deposition preparations, including organizing exhibits and coordinating the scheduling of court reporters and other necessary parties.
- Assist with trial preparations, including organizing exhibits and coordinating schedules of all involved parties.
- Possess extensive knowledge of both state and federal court filing platforms for electronic submissions and case document retrieval.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.
- Manage and schedule deadlines for depositions, including errata forms and confidentiality designations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation setting.
- Experience with Relativity or similar platform.
- Experience with electronic filing.
