Adams & Martin Group is seeking MULTIPLE Litigation Paralegal's in Kansas City, MO and surrounding areas for MULTIPLE openings. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process-from pre-trial through trial and appeal.
Compensation Ranges will vary upon experience and individual opening:
- Entry Level: $45,000 - $55,000 annual
- Mid-Level: $60,000 - $70,000 annual
- Senior Level: $75,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and analyze documents for relevance and accuracy.
- Maintain and organize case files, documents, and evidence using document management systems.
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists; coordinate logistics for depositions and trials.
- File legal documents with federal and state courts electronically and in person.
- Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and hearing/trial schedules.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required.
- In-depth understanding of litigation lifecycle and court procedures.
- Proficient with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation software (e.g., Relativity, TrialDirector, CaseMap).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
