The law firm of Kutner Corrado & Friedrich, LLP is seeking a litigation paralegal to assist their growing law practice. The firm maintains a collegial, supportive and team-centered approach, and we pride ourselves on encouraging a healthy work-life balance.
This defense litigation practice focuses in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and general liability defense for clients throughout the City of New York, Long Island and the lower upstate counties. While most of the practice involves the New York State Court System, we also have a growing practice in the Federal Court system.
We seek a litigation paralegal with experience in all aspects of litigation support, including drafting, research and trial preparation. Salary and responsibilities will be commensurate with the individual's experience and capacity.
The firm's primary location is in Manhattan, but a second office will be opening in Nassau County in the near future, in recognition of the firm's growth and business needs.
Salary range: $40,000 to $100,000
General qualifications:
- Prior paralegal experience
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Familiarity with practice management software/interface, such as Clio, NetDocs or other systems
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt, take responsibility for tasks assigned, and assist in all phases of litigation
