LHH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a great law firm in the Miami area. As a key member of the firm, you will play an important role in supporting Real Estate transactions and legal processes. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate due diligence for residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Review and summarize title commitments and surveys
- Clear titles and obtain title policies with title companies
- Use closing platforms like Qualia
- Prepare and file documents such as deeds, mortgages, leases, UCC financing statements
- Obtain permits and other agency documents
- Distribute closing binders
- Create checklists and manage the closing process for commercial transactions
- Understand real estate law, title reviews, foreclosures, REO's, financing, and lending documents
- Handle transactions from initial contract to closing
- Work with attorneys to coordinate efforts among outside counsel, lenders, borrowers, sellers, and business contacts
Requirements:
- 3 years of residential/commercial real estate experience
- Bilingual a MUST (English/Spanish)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while still delivering consistent quality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
