LHH is seeking a highly skilled Mass Tort and/or Asbestos Litigation Writer to support the creation and review of legal content focused on drug, consumer product, environmental, and other litigation topics. This role is ideal for a legal professional with strong writing skills and subject-matter expertise in mass tort and asbestos litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and write content between 1,000-3,000 words based on detailed content briefs.
- Produce high-quality, SEO-informed legal content for online publication and, occasionally, for third-party websites.
- Ensure all content reflects a casual yet medically accurate tone and voice.
- Fact-check, proofread, and format content before submission to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with established guidelines.
- Meet deadlines by submitting completed assignments within 2-3 days of receipt.
- Follow brand and editorial standards for voice, tone, and structure.
- Use your legal experience, authority, and expertise to create trustworthy and informative content.
- Allow your name and likeness to be used as a subject-matter expert and author.
- Communicate regularly with the Managing Editor and Content Editors to provide progress updates.
Qualifications:
- JD and FL barred attorney is required plus relevant legal experience, particularly in mass tort and/or asbestos litigation.
- Strong portfolio of legal writing for digital audiences.
- Exceptional research and fact-checking skills within legal and medical frameworks.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent tone and formatting.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and communicating effectively with editorial staff.
