A respected Personal Injury Defense firm in Midtown Atlanta is seeking a sharp and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to join their busy team. This is an onsite role supporting multiple attorneys in active litigation - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume defense practice. This is temp to hire opportunity with the potential to roll over before 90 days
What You'll Do:
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents (pleadings, discovery, motions)
- Maintain case files and attorney calendars
- Handle e-filing in Georgia State and Federal courts
- Manage deadlines, hearing dates, and trial schedules
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Provide solid administrative and litigation support from pre-suit through trial
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience (PI defense preferred)
- Strong understanding of court procedures and e-filing protocols
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic legal environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with legal software is a plus
Salary: Up to $75,000 depending on experience
