LHH is hiring an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks while providing exceptional customer service and support to attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in litigation, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys
- Manage and maintain case files, including tracking deadlines and case progress
- Calendaring and scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Draft and prepare legal documents with precision
- Assist in trial preparation and organization of materials
- Ensure effective communication with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to maintain workflow and documentation
- Assist with filing in State and Federal courts
- Monitor and track case deadlines, filings, and other critical items
- Collaborate with attorneys on case management and litigation strategy
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial litigation support
- Strong experience with State and Federal court filings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to effectively problem solve and prioritize tasks
- Outstanding customer service skills, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with document management systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Previous experience with case management systems is beneficial
Salary:
$70,000-$75,000/yr.
