Trustpoint.One is partnering with a prestigious national law firm to find a Bankruptcy Docketing Specialist to join their team. This hybrid role is based out of their Stewart, FL or Fort Lauderdale, FL offices, offering a dynamic opportunity for legal professionals with 3-5 years of bankruptcy docketing experience in Florida.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret legal documents to extract and docket key deadlines and requirements.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in CompuLaw by creating new events and updating existing ones.
  • Manually calculate important deadlines as necessary to ensure compliance with legal timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, staff, and court personnel to obtain, verify, and provide case information.
  • Generate and distribute standard and specialized reports as needed.
  • Stay current with evolving court procedures and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in docketing with a rules-based calendaring system (CompuLaw, CourtAlert, eDockets, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court procedures and administrative rules.
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying court rules and legal documents.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, court personnel, and staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure accuracy in docketing and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
