A bit about us:We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented litigator to handle a broad range of complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and a deep understanding of insurance defense. - Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Conduct thorough and detailed case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys to prepare for trial, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial strategy.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve matters efficiently and favorably.
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect clients or the practice of insurance defense litigation.
- Provide exceptional client service by maintaining regular client communication and meeting all client deadlines.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings, to develop and maintain client relationships.
Job Details- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Exceptional litigation skills, with experience in all stages of the litigation process.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interact with clients, judges, and opposing counsel professionally and courteously.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of favorable settlements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to ethics and professional responsibility.
