We represent major insurers and insureds in matters involving:

• We represent major insurers and insureds in a wide range of complex litigation and coverage matters, including:
• Insurance coverage disputes under CGL, umbrella, excess, D&O, E&O, and EPLI policies
• General liability, commercial auto, and trucking claims
• Labor Law, construction defect, and catastrophic injury cases
• Bad faith litigation, declaratory judgment actions, and risk allocation modeling
• Environmental liability, mass/toxic torts, and product liability
• Premises liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice defense
• Policy analysis and risk assessment for both first-party and third-party coverage issues

Job Details

• Defend clients in insurance defense, personal injury or NY Labor Law cases
• Represent clients in courts throughout the five boroughs
• Prepare and argue motions, including summary judgment and discovery motions
• Conduct and defend depositions, appear for court conferences, mediations, and hearings
• Evaluate case strategy and risk; handle settlement negotiations
• First or second-chair trial responsibilities when appropriate

Looking For:

• J.D. and licensed in New York (New Jersey admission is a plus)
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with insurance defense, coverage, personal injury or NY Labor Law matters
• Experience representing clients in the five buroughs
• Trial or meaningful courtroom experience strongly preferred
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and client advocacy skills
