Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various types of litigation, including commercial, civil, construction, intellectual property, and labor and employment law. This position will involve representing clients in court, managing cases from inception to resolution, and providing strategic legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court and during legal negotiations
- Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions
- Participate in settlement discussions and mediation
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of litigation experience in commercial, civil, or related areas
- Demonstrated expertise in construction law, intellectual property, and labor and employment law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
Competitive base salary ($100,000-$150,000)
