About the Practice
The Litigation group advises on a full range of complex commercial disputes, regulatory issues, and high-exposure litigation. Attorneys in the practice work closely with clients from early-stage case evaluation through trial and appeal, with particular focus on:
- Managing all aspects of commercial litigation in California state and federal courts.
- Drafting and responding to complaints, dispositive motions, and discovery requests.
- Preparing and arguing pre-trial motions, including demurrers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
- Taking and defending depositions and supporting trial teams in preparation and execution.
- The practice is known for helping clients achieve strategic outcomes while maintaining a rigorous focus on business objectives.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm.
- Strong research, writing, and case management skills.
- Substantial experience with drafting pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial motions.
- Experience taking and defending depositions and/or trial preparation experience is a significant plus.
- Stellar academic credentials and strong law firm background.
