We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our team. Experience with the following areas is appreciated:

Real estate litigation, including disputes involving easements, boundaries, and public condemnation and taking claims.
Land use, zoning, permitting and environmental law, including regulatory and administrative law.
Construction law, including construction contracts and disputes.
Commercial litigation, including negotiation and mediation related to our transactional practice.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Vermont and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation, land use, and real estate.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Excellent legal research skills using various research tools.
  • Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Strong knowledge of rules of civil procedure and evidence.
  • Exceptional negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
