Levy Konigsberg LLP, a nationally-recognized Plaintiffs Law Firm, is seeking to add an experienced Litigation Associate to our Philadelphia office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a passionate team representing survivors of sexual abuse. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, be highly organized, adaptable, and flexible, while supporting our mission to advocate for justice and provide a compassionate, client-centered approach.
This position is 4 days a week in office (Monday through Thursday) in Philadelphia and work from home on Fridays.
Candidates must be willing to work in firm's satellite office in Center City temporarily.
Responsibilities
Manage volume case load from pleadings, through discovery and trial.
Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and briefing.
Reviewing and coding documents on review platform.
Navigating local county practice.
Appearing in court and managing court deadlines.
Exercising sound judgment and working with a team to advocate for the Firm's clients.
Qualifications
Experience working with plaintiffs and an interest in trial work.
Experience working in the Pennsylvania state court system and in federal court is required.
3+ years of litigation experience.
Understanding and engagement with mediation and settlement process.
Ability to complete projects and assignments independently.
Excellent writing skills.
Comfort and confidence with court appearances.
Sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
Experience with discovery platforms.
Experience with Filevine is a plus.
Willingness to travel to NYC office occasionally for training purposes.
