The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience practicing law. They will have the opportunity to handle a variety of cases involving general liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, and complex litigation matters. The firm offers a hybrid schedule and no billable hours requirement, allowing a work-life balance. This low-turnover firm is ready to bring on a litigation associate for its Los Angeles and Orange country office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling litigation in both State and Federal courts, with responsibilities that span from case assessment through trial preparation.
- Conduct case assessments, respond to discovery requests, and prepare litigation documents. Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and develop trial strategies.
- Work collaboratively with team members, contributing to trial preparation and client communication. Participate in settlement negotiations, ensuring effective advocacy for clients.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of civil litigation or personal injury experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Admitted to practice in California, with a strong preference for candidates in good standing with the CA State Bar.
