Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable firm in California to find a dedicated Litigation Assistant/Paralegal. This position is ideal for someone with a background in civil litigation who is looking to contribute their expertise to a dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be involved in both litigation secretary tasks and paralegal responsibilities, providing comprehensive support for assigned cases.
Responsibilities
- Handling plaintiff toxic tort and complex litigation cases.
- Performing a variety of tasks related to litigation support, including both secretarial and paralegal duties.
- Calendaring deadlines manually in Outlook to ensure timely case management.
- Conducting e-filing procedures for state and some federal courts.
- Preparing and managing correspondence related to legal cases.
- Responding to discovery requests efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience is required.
- Experience with plaintiff cases is preferred, but not mandatory.
Additional Details
- Monday through Friday, with a hybrid work schedule allowing for 2 days working from home.
- The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000, along with a flexible hybrid work schedule and comprehensive benefits.
