Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Court Filings: Format and file court pleadings, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules.
  • Support Services: Prepare for meetings, teleconferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Case Management: Organize documents, maintain case files, and assist with project tracking.
  • Calendaring: Manage shared and individual calendars in Outlook, coordinating with the Firm's Calendar Group.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to attorneys, clients, and guests, both on the phone and in person.
  • Billing: Enter billable time and coordinate billing reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years as a paralegal, legal secretary, or assistant, with litigation experience in California state and federal courts.
  • Skills: Superior customer service, strong organizational abilities, and excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, and Styles or CCC Macros . Experience with the following software or a relatble software is a plus: Teams, iManage, Best Authority, time and billing systems, and CompuLaw.
