Contract-To-Hire SECRET Clearance Required No C2C Techead is seeking a Linux and Windows Server System Administrator to support the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network for a US Government customer in San Diego. This 100% onsite role involves managing physical and virtual Linux (Red Hat, open source) and Windows servers for the Naval Information Warfare Center's Science and Technology Branch. Work in an unclassified, experimental environment as part of a 4-5 person team. Responsibilities: Linux and Windows Server (2019+) system administration.
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) experience.
Active Directory management.
Server hardening (DISA STIGs) and ACAS.
RMF support.
Basic networking knowledge.
STIG implementation and documentation. Requirements: Clearance: Secret
Certifications (IAT Level II): Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP AND Linux+, LPIC-2/3, RHCE, RHCSA, or RHCDS.
Required Skills:2-3 years Linux systems experience.
2-3 years Windows Server systems experience.
Experience with VM environments. Desired Skills: CANES knowledge.
ITIL processes/certification.
