In this role, you will be the primary Systems Administrator for a dynamic team of 16 professionals, actively working to replace an end-of-life solution with cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities: - Create, test, and maintain environments for testing, development, and production.
- Implement workflows, troubleshoot network and application issues, and provide assistance as required.
- Update technical configuration documents and manage system lifecycles.
- Participate in technical and design reviews, and prepare comprehensive documentation for programs and users.
- Collaborate effectively both independently and in teamwork.
Security Clearance Required: - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications: - Experience with Linux and PowerShell administration.
- Proven ability to create, test and maintain production environments using Linux and AWS technologies.
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience, or commensurate experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Linux command line operations and configuration tailoring.
- Basic automation/scripting experience using tools like Ansible.
- Comprehension of Linux security best practices and system maintenance.
- Understanding of basic domain services and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Able to support an engineering team in solution-building with minimal oversight.
