Linux Systems Administrator

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a full-time Linux Systems Administrator to support our client in Fort Meade, MD. This position requires an active TS/SCI/FSP clearance.

Requirements:

Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line and troubleshooting
Windows Server
Virtualization - VMWare
Puppet Experience, or ability to learn quickly
SSP Support - scanning, patching, keeping documentation up to date, and support ATO activities.
RF Signals background

Desired Skills:

Linux systems (CentOS7) engineering/administration
Strong VMWare background
System integration/administration experience
Ability to work independently/self-motivated
Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)
RF Signals
Puppet, Ansible scripting

Qualifications:

This Linux Systems Administrator must have a strong background in Linux engineering, VMWare, administration, troubleshooting, and the ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently.
Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
CWIP Level I is required at the start; Level II is required within 6 months.
