We are seeking a motivated Linux Cloud Administrator to join our team supporting a Government customer in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you'll perform platform operations, sustainment engineering, and systems administration while continuously improving functionality, monitoring, and resource optimization for a cloud based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud-based resources (particularly AWS), exceptionally proficient working with a Linux operating system environment, skilled in troubleshooting, and implementing access control policies. You'll also support automation efforts, implement DevSecOps practices, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Strong documentation skills and the ability to propose process improvements are essential. This is an on-site position. In this position, you can expect to: Design, Provision and Support a fault-tolerant infrastructure leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) Conduct administration, operations, and support for Cloud based Servers and assure the quality of software product releases. Evaluate and Manage AWS usage costs and operational costs Develop and Support automated processes Deliver hands-on engineering, administration, and technical support. Provide guidance as a subject matter expert on product design, development, troubleshooting and documentation applications that run-on AWS Implement Systems Security requirements (DISA STIGs, Vulnerability remediation, etc.) Perform problem diagnostics, troubleshooting, and development of solutions. Assist customers with product related issues. As with any technical environment, the exact role responsibilities will evolve with the changing needs of our client. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: At least 2 years' experience using AWS services and Linux Server Administration Experience with implementing security on AWS with VPC, IAM, Security Groups, UTM solutions, NACLS etc., provision infrastructure on AWS and scale applications Experience of architecture and design infrastructure on AWS Experience with AWS Management Tools as Cloud watch and Cloud Trail Experience with Linux and proven strong UNIX Shell scripting Ability to obtain a required DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP) within 6 months of hire. Systems Administration and/or Security certifications a plus. Knowledge of Windows and PowerShell scripting. Knowledge and familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure and GCP. Knowledge of Splunk. Minimum of 2 years of performing operations and maintenance for a medium to large scale virtual environment Existing Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
