- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Bash, Python, or Perl
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive support for Linux servers and systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
2. Install, configure, and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
3. Develop and manage Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and queries to monitor system performance and security.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems and Splunk configurations.
5. Collaborate with various teams to integrate Splunk into the IT environment and optimize its usage.
6. Conduct regular system audits, apply patches, and perform upgrades to maintain system integrity.
7. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
8. Implement security best practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect systems and data.
9. Provide training and support to team members on Splunk and Linux system usage.
