Overview Maintaining and replenishing linens within the hotel
Core Job Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's linen.
Qualifications Must have Attention to detail, Organization skills, good communications skills, reliability and ability to meet
deadlines.
Pay Range: $29.1543-$38.8725
Job Requirements 1: Check all assigned areas. Promptly report to your supervisor any and all areas that either require special maintenance or are damaged. Throughout the day check your areas for general condition.
2: Organizing and storing clean linens in designated areas. Delivery of linen to floors as requested
3: Sorting and counting linen for inventory purposes.
4: Maintaining cleanliness of linen room and storage areas
5: Maintaining inventory and reporting discrepancies. Verifying linen counts.
6. Empty Chute of dirty linen and filling/moving linen carts within designated areas.
7.Weigh and record all dirty linen before it is picked up by the linen company.
8. Receive and organize all incoming clean linen.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to walk, climb stairs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, twist and turn
- Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push
- Must have good near and far vision
- Must be able to hear, talk, smell
- Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 pounds
- The majority of duties are performed indoors. Noise level moderate.
