Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our restaurant's standards while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Adapt to changing menus, food requests, and special dietary needs.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff when needed.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a busy restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
- Culinary school diploma or relevant experience preferred.
