Summary: The Line Cook is in charge of preparing food and setting up other necessary supplies. They will prepare the kitchen to ensure smooth operations while in service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare food with quality standards
- Report emergencies, accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to management
- Report any deviation of policies and procedures to management
- Know the hotel grounds and services to assist guests as needed
- Impress guests with quality and timely service
- Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- Use a variety of cooking methods
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes
- Use supplies and equipment safely and responsibly
- Have a positive attitude with visitors and staff
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years restaurant experience required
