Menno Haven is seeking a Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will provide nutritious meals by maintaining a high standard of quality in addition to having the skill and knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and nutrition and food safety regulations. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies, preparing and cooking food, in addition to maintaining cleanliness with proper sanitation and food handling in mind.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum one (1) year line cook or similar experience in dining services, required
- ServSafe certification, preferred
- Good organizational and time management skills
- General understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with a team and independently
