Job Description

General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:
  • Assists applicant with the Section 42 application process
  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files
  • Works under the direction of the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed. Walk units once deemed "ready to rent" for quality assurance
  • Completes move-in walk through with new residents
  • Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
  • Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
  • Creates and updates the wait list
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Community Manager. Attend Monday or daily morning meetings with the complete team
  • Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of consecutive multi-family property management and leasing experience (Required)
  • 1+ years of WA affordable apartment experience (Required)
  • Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs in Washington
  • Attention to detail
  • Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

Additional Information

Pay - $22.00 -$24.00 Hourly
