Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Product Engineering and Drafting Departments.
  • Assume responsibility for both new and existing product designs.
  • Ensure timely project completion while maintaining the highest quality standards, including error-free shop drawings and design packages.
  • Coordinate departmental activities to support other teams, develop new products, modify current designs, and manage product design enhancements through revision tracking and traceability.
  • Communicate project requirements and offer guidance on design modifications to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with building materials, including curtain walls, storefronts, windows, composites, or sandwich panels is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership position.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, project management, scheduling, and decision-making.
