About the Role
We're hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the charge in developing and optimizing customer journeys that drive retention, engagement, and loyalty. You'll be responsible for building and executing personalized lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and other CRM channels, owning the strategy from ideation through reporting.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves to test, analyze, and iterate-someone who can zoom out to think about the full funnel, and zoom in to troubleshoot performance by segment. You should be as comfortable writing briefs and reading dashboards as you are collaborating with designers and digging through user data.
What You'll Do
- Own Shed's retention and CRM strategy, building full-funnel lifecycle journeys that increase LTV and reduce churn
- Plan, launch, and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and in-product messaging
- Develop segmentation frameworks and automation flows that meet users where they are in their journey
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, creative, engineering, and growth teams to align messaging and audience targeting
- Create and execute a testing roadmap for subject lines, send times, content, and channel performance
- Report regularly on key CRM KPIs including engagement, retention, and conversion metrics-driving action from insight
- Manage and evolve tools and infrastructure (Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar) to scale communication efficiently
- Stay ahead of industry best practices and apply new strategies to enhance user experience and business impact
What You Bring
- 5-10 years experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing (DTC or health/wellness is a bonus)
- Deep understanding of marketing automation, customer segmentation, and lifecycle strategy
- Experience owning campaign execution end-to-end-strategy, setup, testing, and reporting
- Proficiency in analyzing marketing performance data (GA, Looker, Amplitude, or similar)
- Experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, and customer journey mapping
- Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills
- A bias for action and a high level of comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Extreme attention to detail
Bonus If You Have
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant marketing and/or regulated health tech brands
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email formatting
- Experience working with loyalty or rewards programs
- Comfort working directly in GoHighLevel, Hubspot, or Zoho
