We are looking for a motivated and versatile Life Sciences (Pharma) Recruiter & Business Development Executive with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team. This hybrid role involves both talent acquisition and client relationship management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO sectors.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable sourcing specialized life sciences talent and building new business relationships with clients in the pharma/life sciences domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for roles in drug development, regulatory affairs, clinical trials, R&D, QA/QC, and other pharma-related functions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and define sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle from posting to placement using ATS and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals).
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates for current and future needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely updates and feedback.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (HR, hiring managers, procurement).
  • Understand client needs and propose customized staffing/recruitment solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client requirements and ensure quality service.
  • Meet sales and placement targets aligned with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in life sciences/pharma recruitment and/or business development (agency or in-house).
  • Strong understanding of industry roles, terminology, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent sourcing, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both candidate pipelines and client relationships.
  • Proficiency in ATS, CRM tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a staffing agency, consulting firm, or RPO serving the life sciences sector.
  • Prior success in bringing in new business or expanding client accounts.
  • Familiarity with U.S. or global pharmaceutical market hiring trends.
