POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated, early-career professional to join one of our Private Client Groups as a Life Insurance Consultant. This hybrid role blends operational responsibilities with opportunities for sales support and product positioning. It is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in the financial services or insurance industry while learning from an experienced and collaborative team.

As a Life Insurance Consultant, you will help assist in presenting tailored life insurance solutions, onboard and support independent insurance agents, and process key administrative tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Operational Responsibilities:
  • Assist with onboarding and contracting for new agents
  • Support case management efforts: application tracking, follow-ups, and communication with carriers
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure documentation is up to date
Sales & Support Responsibilities:
  • Help prepare life insurance illustrations and proposals
  • Learn and apply basic product knowledge to help agents position solutions for their clients
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to respond to agent inquiries and assist in growing agent relationships
  • Provide exceptional service and build trust with both new and existing agents
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Interest in the life insurance or financial services industry
  • Strong communication skills-both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and willing to learn internal systems (CRM, illustration tools, etc.)
  • A team-first attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Life and Health license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Exposure to life insurance products, case management, or CRM systems is a plus
