VCA Manito Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in beautiful Spokane, Washington.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour shifts. Rotating Monday - Friday schedule.
Compensation: Starting at $23 - 28 hour. Pay dependent on experience and licensure. Must have a current veterinary technician license in the state of Washington or be eligible to transfer/obtain a license in Washington.

Snapshot of the Role:
By joining our team of excellent Veterinarians, stellar Veterinary Technicians and an amazing support team, you'll experience interesting, diverse and challenging cases that will afford you the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in a safe, supportive environment. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.
Venipuncture and IVC placement
Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
Recognize subtle change in clinical status.
Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.
Complete estimates, basic record keeping.
Surgical preparation and assisting.
Anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
Dentistry and dental radiographs.
