VCA Colonial Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Medicine team full time. We are a hybrid hospital and proud to be one of the premier providers of primary, specialty and emergency care located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Meaning, you have the opportunity to not only practice advanced and progressive medicine, but you will also have the opportunity for puppy kisses and kitten snuggles on the daily. Our 17 doctor hospital serves our clients 24/7/365. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing advanced care and management of patients in a specialty setting. We not only have a VTS in anesthesia and analgesia, and a VTS in emergency and critical care on site, but an incredible leadership team to support you in your career journey. Licensed Veterinary Technician Duties Include Physical examinations and patient assessment Patient management IV fluid administration/ CRI/Drug calculation Hands Free Radiology Anesthesia patient care Diagnostic imaging to include CT Medical Recordkeeping Client education and communication Potential Schedule: Swing Shift & Weekend Compensation: $24 - 30 / hour dependent on licensure, experience and skill set.
