Licensed Planning/Service Advisor

Our well established and growing financial firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking to add a Licensed Planning/Service Advisor to our Team.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Boca Raton, FL for a Licensed Planning/Service Advisor at Singer Wealth Advisors, LLC. The position will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning advice to clients. Responsibilities include conducting client meetings, gathering financial information, analyzing data, developing financial plans, and providing ongoing support and advice. The Licensed Planning/Service Advisor will also maintain relationships with clients and seek out additional business of existing clients and referral opportunities.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Required

Series 65 (or 7 & 66) license Required

215 Insurance license Required

2+ years' experience as a licensed service advisor in the Financial Service Industry

Working knowledge of various investment products including alternative investments, ETFs, treasuries, bonds, structured notes, structured settlements, annuities, & life insurance products.

Understanding of tax within investments and registered accounts

Technology savvy: initiative to learn, explore, and implement new technology

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; solid understanding of Excel

Understanding of RIA SEC compliance rules policies and procedures

Good personal appearance and habits

Must be able to successfully pass both criminal and financial background checks

Personable, professional, confident, flexible, detailed, and quick worker

Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions without getting flustered

Experience working in a team environment

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Supporting Lead Financial Advisor with all aspects servicing new and existing business

Play a key role in pre-appointment preparation for prospect clients

Use and analysis of financial planning technology for review & analysis of existing & proposed investments & overall financial plans

Creation of Investment plan proposals, Income plans, & Tax strategy plans

Working with back-office compliance on Investment Plan approvals based on clients' objectives, income needs, risk tolerance assessment, and IPS.

Collaborating with new account processor on opening accounts & transferring assets; along with general service requests.

Strategy and Review sessions on existing clients while using Tamarac for client performance reports

Capturing of new assets from existing clients

Generating leads through referrals of existing clients

Portfolio rebalancing

Cash flow management

Cost Basis analysis & Tax Loss Harvesting

Daily transaction management

Project management of tracking & monitoring of new account transfers & implementation of investment plans

Processing general client service requests:

o Money movement - wires, check requests, transfers, journals, setting up money-links and standing instructions, processing deposits, etc.

o Preparing performance and tax reports for clients

o Roth conversions

o Required Minimum Distributions

o Answering general account inquiries: Act as a liaison between clients, financial advisor, and direct custodian (Charles Schwab)

HOURS: Full Time Position, in-office, with hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm

Compensation Range

$85-100K/ per year, depending on experience
