As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care setting, I provide dedicated support and care for elderly patients, ensuring their well-being through the nursing process and collaboration with healthcare team members. I am responsible for delivering quality care while maintaining efficiency and composure under pressure. My role requires current licensure and competency in basic life support techniques, aimed at enhancing the health and quality of life for patients.
A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)/CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
