LPN-LTC nurse needed in Santa Fe NM

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and teaching hospitals. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support throughout their treatment journey.

Duties
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist with IV insertion and management of intravenous therapies.
Provide care in areas such as pain management, hospital medicine, and emergency room (ER) settings.
Perform sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment for patient care.
Collaborate with medical imaging teams to facilitate necessary diagnostic procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-10 coding for billing and documentation purposes.
Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.

Skills
Strong clinical skills with experience in Nursing Home with LTC exp
Proficient in IV insertion techniques and sterile processing protocols.
Knowledgeable in pain management practices and medical imaging procedures.
Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while providing compassionate patient care.
