Licensed Practical Nurse

•  Administers x-rays and operates imaging equipment to provide quality patient care using various imaging modalities.
•  Prepares exam rooms, equipment, and materials, including medication, for diagnostic procedures.
•  Assists radiologists and ensures images are suitable for interpretation.
•  Checks orders, uses independent judgment for exams, and maintains accurate records.
•  Works with all patient populations, follows safety, infection control, and department policies.
•  Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist school, ARRT & IEMA certification, and BLS CPR.
•  PRN schedule; must lift/move patients and perform physical tasks as needed.
•  Maintains education and participates in quality programs.
