Job Specifics- Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
- Hours: We provide flexible scheduling options, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will follow a modified block schedule based on availability, with shifts every other weekend or every third weekend.
- FTE Status: part time or full time opportunities available
- Work Environment: Our Ortho/Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. The orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders. Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually. Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections. Our medical team specializes in caring for orthopedic and neurologic patients, managing all fractures that present to the hospital, as well as surgical site infections and other postoperative complications.

Job Description:- Responsible for nursing care under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.
Qualifications:- Appropriate state LPN license required.
