Minimum Qualifications: Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Licensed Practical Nurse if they have: License and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State; or Limited Permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State; or Application on file for a Limited Permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State. Duties Description Nurses at BPC are vital members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing companionate care and patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness.
