The LPN/LVN provides skilled bedside care to terminally ill patients under RN supervision, following the care plan and state regulations.
Administers treatments, medications, and monitors patient responses. Evaluates patient and family needs, documents clinical notes, and reports changes to RNs or physicians. Maintains a safe, clean environment and encourages patient independence and participation in care. Supports interdisciplinary team efforts, assists with patient/family teaching, and participates in on-call rotations with flexible scheduling. Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, licensure, and at least one year of medical-surgical experience.
