This position in PRN, as needed and will work night shifts.

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing general nursing care to patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician's orders and established standards and protocols. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.

Essential Functions:

Provides skilled nursing care under physician orders and RN supervision.

Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and RN care plan.

Assists RN in developing individualized care plans for patients.

Evaluates intervention effectiveness and seeks guidance as needed.

Reports patient care, issues, and resolutions to supervisor.

Identifies patient problems and risks, contributing to care planning.

Assists with patient education on self-care and techniques.

Accurately assigns charges to patients using hospital system.

May work during inclement weather or staffing emergencies.

Ensures a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, following safety and infection control standards.

Maintains regular attendance and performs additional duties as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience :

Two years' experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation:

Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.

Current CPR certification required.
