Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care services, addressing psychosocial and physical needs under RN supervision. Maintains compliance with regulatory and hospital standards, communicates patient condition changes, and performs general nursing duties across departments.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge and skills for patient care based on age-specific criteria. Maintains core competencies and adheres to policies and procedures. Performs assessments and pain management education. Administers medications correctly and revises care plans as needed. Involves patients and families in care planning and addresses psychosocial needs. Consults with other departments for interdisciplinary care. Maintains positive working relationships and performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; LPN/LVN program graduate. Effective communication in English; basic computer skills. Current LPN/LVN Licensure in New Mexico; BLS certification. Work Type: Full Time
