Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care services, addressing psychosocial and physical needs under RN supervision. Communicates patient condition changes and maintains compliance with nursing standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge and skills for patient care based on age-specific criteria. Maintains core competencies and adheres to policies. Performs assessments and pain management education. Administers medications correctly and revises care plans as needed. Involves patients and families in care planning and addresses psychosocial needs. Collaborates with other departments for comprehensive care. Maintains positive working relationships and performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements:
High School diploma and accredited LPN/LVN program graduate. Current LPN/LVN Licensure in New Mexico and BLS certification.
